How we help

Chiropractic care for animals, like humans, can decrease pain, increase mobility, and improve overall quality of life. Chiropractic is equally suited to young athletic animals, older arthritic friends, and every life stage and activity level in between. We can help prevent injuries as well as help heal them.

treatment technique and Philosophy

I have always had a very gentle approach to chiropractic adjustments (no forceful “cracking”). I believe the nervous system is more responsive that way. I focus on precise low force corrections to minimize discomfort. Sometimes this approach takes a bit longer to deliver but I believe the results last longer. I also have several auxiliary techniques I may employ during a visit which include: soft tissue massage, tuning fork therapy, joint mobilization, scar tissue release, acupressure.

about dr. liz giles, DC CAC

Doctor of chiropractic, certified animal chiropractor

I have been a chiropractic physician for human creatures since 2012. I graduated magna cum laude with a doctorate in chiropractic from the University of Western States in Portland Oregon. I love this work. It has deepened my connection to people, my community, and my understanding of this world in a way that has softened the edges of my east coast upbringing. But don’t worry, I can still be sarcastic.

It is now my great honor to be certified to treat ALL creatures with a spine. I have completed extensive post doctorate training at Parker University, studying alongside veterinarians and fellow chiropractors, to become certified in animal chiropractic. This is a dream come true for me. I have trouble referring to it as “work”.
